Letter from Gary Simon regarding UMass & Mi'kmaq studies

Dear Chris,
Can you find out if University of Massachusetts would be interested in participating in the development of the Micmac American Truckhouse Project?
Subjects would include, business development, trade, international treaties, and many other topics.
One of the concerns expressed by the Mi'kmaq Grand Council when they approved & endorsed my project was that there was a high unemployment rate of graduates from the Mi'kmaq Studies Program at the University College of Cape Breton in Nova Scotia . They wanted know if these native students could somehow be integrated into the development of the Truckhouse Project which could include being affiliated with other universities to further their education.
